Statement of Capabilities
Company History
ATSI was founded in California by a team of visionary engineers and entrepreneurs with a mission to revolutionize telemetry for the water/wastewater industry. Their focus was providing highly reliable radio communications, accompanied by exceptional customer support.
In its developmental years, ATSI established strategic partnerships with organizations such as Motorola and Kingfisher Controls, LLP to advance its technological capabilities. It was Kingfisher’s Series II RTU that helped ATSI transition from Remote Telemetry Units (RTUs) to Distributed Control Systems (DCS). ATSI became the U.S. distributor for Kingfisher Controls.
ATSI introduced its first commercial telemetry products: the Well Level Monitor (WLM) product line to assist with well depth monitoring. They continued to solidify the company’s reputation in the water and wastewater industry, while also expanding into the food and beverage industry. This focus, along with the advances in industrial automation with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), led to a partnership with Rockwell Automation—a partnership from which the company still benefits today.
ATSI embraced the Internet of Things (IoT) revolution, developing innovative solutions that focus on high availability, reliability, and real-time analytics.
The company faced its greatest test with the passing of two of its key founding partners but was able persevere due to its strong foundation. With new leadership in place, ATSI renewed its commitment to providing client-centered solutions and dedicated itself to moving ATSI into the future.
